About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, diligent and analytical Digital Marketing Executive to join our friendly and creative Brand and Communications team.
Working in a small team and reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness in the digital space. You will be responsible for enabling the Enginuity Group – including EAL – to grow and develop its brand, increase customer acquisition, engagement and retention, and help achieve commercial growth.
Key responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for planning, activating and managing campaigns and comms to our external audiences, growing our database and reputation in line with departmental and business strategy. Working with partners including City and Guilds to creatively market new and existing qualifications. You will be performing competitor analysis, benchmarking and sector persona/stakeholder development to discover opportunity and deliver competitive advantage as well as providing recommendations and executing strategies for business growth.
You will be writing creative briefs and supporting the production of engaging, image and video content across all forms of owned media, including social media, landing pages and press releases and developing lead generating opportunities including landing pages and lead magnets.
This role requires flair and creativity as well as confidence in using appropriate systems and technology, and a solid understanding of the digital landscape. It will involve building email campaigns using Dot Digital, through to PPC advertising and more traditional social media marketing, along with associated analytics capturing and reporting. All of which will support the launch and promotion of new products and help drive commercial growth.
Skills and experience required
What we’re looking for
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field with proven experience as a Digital Marketeer or similar role. You will be skilled at B2B, B2C, SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Advertising (including PPC), Direct Mail and Events. You will have graphic design abilities, excellent creative, analytical, organisational, project and time management skills with an eye for detail and ability to deliver multi-channel campaigns to tight deadlines.You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be customer focused and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role
If you have direct response marketing experience, experience working with automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, etc.), good understanding of Technical/On page SEO, working knowledge of JavaScript, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimise/Conversion Rate Optimisation/Hotjar, knowledge of SEMRush, Ahrefs or similar and or have an interest in science, technology, engineering mathematics and or data this would be an advantage.
