Pat Symonds, F1’s Chief Technical Officer outlines a raft of measures including a bespoke app that will get elite motor racing back on track in Austria next month.
Speaking exclusively to Engage, the new skills platform from Enginuity – supporting UK engineers and manufacturers, he said fans need to understand that everyone won’t be two metres apart.
Pat goes on to predict a competitive season ahead (perhaps the most competitive ever) despite or rather because of the changes forced by the Covid-19 crisis.

The very best of British engineering and manufacturing was celebrated last night at the Enginuity Skills Awards 2022. More than 200 people gathered at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London for the first in-person awards since 2019.

Celebrating Achievements Together
The Enginuity Skills Awards are always a wonderful opportunity to recognise the very best talent from across industry, but this year will be extra special for a number of reasons.
