Enginuity is supporting Pride Month, not simply to add our voice to the chorus but because, as a charity whose mission is to encourage more people into engineering and manufacturing, we emphasise this means ALL people – whatever background, orientation, or gender.

At Enginuity, we say that ‘given the opportunity one engineer can change their world, and ours’. The world is not homogenous, and our industries need to reflect that, we need a far broader spectrum of individuals to help make up our workforces.

This month, we hoist the virtual rainbow flag not just in solidarity but as a beacon that says ‘come and join us’; bring your talent and skills.

A diverse workforce represents a diversity of life experience; challenges met and overcome with a different type of tenacity – one which comes not simply from grit and determination, but human spirit.

This creates an empathy that enriches a workplace. It also means colleagues with different mindsets – something that is fundamental to the ingenuity that drives innovation which is key to the success of our industries.

At Enginuity, we take pride in Pride.
