Event summary
We are excited to be attending the Next Gen Makers Engineering Skills Conference 2026 at the MTC in Coventry.
The day includes talks from various sector stakeholders including our very own Cathryn Moses-Stone, Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager, who will draw on our Mind the Gap research to explore what’s really behind the numbers, why the skills gap matters for the sector’s future growth, and where the biggest opportunities for change lie.
The event promises a day of insight, best practice sharing and networking. Attendees will:
- Get up to speed with ways to solve the engineering skills shortage
- Discover strategies to build your early careers talent pipeline
- Understand how to create the ultimate apprentice experience from the apprentice panel discussion
- Learn how to leverage inclusion to attract more diverse talent
- Uncover how other organisations are mentoring and developing their apprentices
- Build your network with industry and education over lunch.
