365 faces of STEM: A year-long celebration of everyday role models

At Enginuity, we believe that the future of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is shaped not only by groundbreaking discoveries but by the everyday contributions of individuals who challenge the status quo. That is why we are proud to announce our 365 faces of STEM initiative – a year-long campaign that shines a light on remarkable women and their allies making a difference in STEM. 

In celebration of International Women's Day on 8 March 2025, this initiative aims to share the inspiring stories of individuals who advocate for innovation, resilience, and leadership. Whether they are designing sustainable solutions, mentoring the next generation, or breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries, these role models prove that inspiration comes in many forms. 

We also recognise how important it is to appreciate all individuals who are truly committed allies, actively supporting the advancement of women in STEM. They highlight the importance of allyship and the role all genders can play in driving progress towards gender equality in STEM.

Championing visibility  

365 faces of STEM celebrates those who often go unrecognised, the engineers, technicians, educators, and advocates whose impact is shaping the world around us.  

Ann Watson, CEO of Enginuity, notes the importance of visibility in encouraging future talent: “By showcasing diverse role models throughout the year, we aim to inspire the next generation to see STEM as a sector they can thrive in. Representation matters, and by sharing these stories, we hope to break down barriers and show that STEM is for everyone, regardless of gender, background, or experience.” 

By highlighting the voices of women and their allies, we hope to challenge stereotypes, encourage inclusion, and pave the way for a more diverse and dynamic STEM workforce of the future.
