Earlier this year, we partnered with Kids Invent Stuff to help bring The Invention Shed to life, a new interactive STEM attraction at Gulliver’s Valley Resort in South Yorkshire.

The project reflects our shared ambition to inspire more young people to explore engineering and manufacturing through creativity, practical activities and hands-on experiences. Alongside showcasing children’s inventions, The Invention Shed features a dedicated Enginuity area, including Enspire City, our interactive digital experience that helps young people discover how engineering and manufacturing shape the world around them.

Inspiring the next generation of engineers

Kids Invent Stuff has now shared a new case study exploring how The Invention Shed came together, the thinking behind the project and how our partnership is helping bring engineering and invention to life for young visitors.

As Nicola Dolan, Associate Director of Charity Operations and Impact at Enginuity, explains in the video case study, inspiring the next generation was a key reason for getting involved: “We really believe that there is a need to inspire the future generation of engineering and manufacturing individuals. There are so many opportunities available for young people in the sector, and we really need them across the UK.”

Read the case study and tune in to the video on the Kids Invent Stuff website to find out more about the project and how we're working together to help young people see what's possible through engineering and manufacturing.
