Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult's Career Converter
Project details
Why are we doing this project?
In early 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a need for rapid vaccine production and a shortage of critical skills in 16 key roles within vaccine production and distribution. Career Converter was developed to attract talent by helping individuals understand how their existing skills can transfer into these sectors, providing a pathway for upskilling and transitioning into these vital roles.
About the project
By leveraging Enginuity’s expertise, the project supports the industry in addressing its talent shortages. Career Converter collates a user’s current job role or qualifications to provide personalised career recommendations and to identify any skills gaps, guiding users toward additional training to help them transition into these high-demand positions.
