"Enginuity has been a key partner for the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, working with us to develop our career converter tool. Enginuity created a machine-based learning tool and skills-matching methodology, which extracted skills, knowledge, and behaviours from the most critically under-resourced jobs in vaccine manufacturing and matched them to jobs across all sectors. Users could discover which role in vaccine manufacturing best suited their current job role via an intuitive online tool."

How did the partnership come about?
In response to the industry Skills Demand Survey produced by the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult every 2 years, 16 in-demand roles were highlighted within the advanced therapies sector, requiring innovative ways to attract the right skills and talent into these critical positions.
The Advanced Therapies Skills Training Network (ATSTN) approached Enginuity to leverage our unique view of skills in the engineering and manufacturing sector to develop an online tool that engages potential talent from inside and outside the sector, to fill the critical skills shortages and support people in navigating potential career options.
