The countdown is on – only 8 days remain until the Enginuity Skills Awards 2025 on Thursday 3 July, at Park Plaza London Riverbank. Excitement is building as we approach a night of celebrating the teams and individuals who inspire and empower the next generation of talent in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

Celebrating our partners and sponsors

We’d like to thank our sponsors and partners, who are driving change and making an impact in the engineering and manufacturing sector, and related industries: BAE Systems, Biffa, EAL, Edquas, Innovate UK, the Learning and Work Institute, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, The National Network of Institutes of Technology.

Thank you to our supporters, the Association for Black & Minority Ethnic Engineers, Design and Technology Association, Machinery & Manufacturing, and Next Gen Makers – all of whom are helping make the Enginuity Skills Awards 2025 possible.

Events like this are made possible by the support and creativity of an outstanding community.

We’re especially grateful to the companies that have each played a unique role in bringing this year’s Skills Awards to life, including KMF, who has produced the beautiful centrepieces that will anchor each table, a visual reminder of the craftsmanship and care at the heart of engineering.

JJA Snack has brought a touch of indulgence to the night by supplying handmade after-dinner truffles and FANUC has manufactured this year’s winners' trophies, based on a bespoke design by the talented Grace Peckett, who won their trophy design competition.

To all our sponsors and partners, thank you. Your support ensures that this celebration fosters a culture of innovation, diversity, and collaboration.

Hosted by two outstanding engineers

We’re proud to welcome two brilliant hosts to the stage this year: Mohammad Taher and Mimi Nwosu.

Mohammad, known to many as ‘The Airport Guy’, is a mechanical engineer who’s built a passionate following through his engaging breakdowns of airport infrastructure and engineering systems. His ability to make complex topics accessible has made him a standout voice in the sector.

Joining him is civil engineer Mimi Nwosu, an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM. Mimi’s work in both the engineering and outreach communities has earned her recognition across the UK and beyond. Her warmth, authenticity and unwavering drive to make engineering more inclusive will bring an important and inspiring voice to the evening.

Together, Mohammad and Mimi represent the best of modern engineering, and we’re delighted they’re joining us at the Enginuity Skills Awards 2025.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Phil Smith CBE, Chair of Skills England, for a fireside chat with our hosts. Phil’s leadership in bridging the worlds of education, policy and industry aligns perfectly with Enginuity’s mission to ensure technical education meets the needs of the real world.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
