We strive to be an inclusive place to work for all our colleagues and we want everyone to feel valued and that they can be themselves at work. We recognise that when our colleagues are comfortable at work, they will have higher levels of personal wellbeing, will perform at their best and provide the very best service to our internal and external customers.

We understand the benefits of having a diverse workforce and aim to embed equality, diversity and inclusion in all of our activities. We are delighted to be working with the Clear Company using their Clear Assured accreditation standard as a framework for action. Clear Assured is a globally recognised inclusion standard that supports organisations to embed equality, diversity and inclusion into their workplaces. In April 2022 we were delighted to be awarded the ‘Bronze’ Standard from Clear Assured for our commitment to, and progress in, equality, diversity and inclusion.  Bronze Standard is awarded to businesses that have shown that diversity and inclusion are reflected across all policies and processes; marking a move beyond compliance towards a cultural shift where diversity and inclusion are well on the way to becoming embedded in the day-to-day experiences of colleagues. We’re now working on achieving Silver Accreditation and are aiming to achieve this by the end of 2023.

In 2021 we made the commitment to become a Menopause Friendly employer. As we are on our Menopause Friendly journey, we have introduced menopause training, awareness, guidance and support to our colleagues across the Enginuity Group with resources and toolkits to support you through this phase of life.

We’re also proud to be a Disability Confident Employer which means our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible and we provide reasonable adjustments to support job applicants and existing employees. In 2022 we partnered with the Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE) who are supporting us with our diversity strategy and plan and we’re also members of the Tech Talent Charter, aiming to drive diversity and inclusion in technology roles.

We measure how our colleagues feel about inclusion through our Inclusion Index in our annual employee survey and are proud that our Inclusion Index is currently at 8.2 (out of a maximum score of 10) indicating that our colleagues feel comfortable being themselves at work and feel treated fairly by their manager.
