On behalf of Welsh Government, Enginuity is contracted to undertake a four-week public consultation on the review of the following Apprenticeship Framework Pathways for Wales:

Please find the 3 apprenticeship framework documents to be reviewed below:

As part of this review we have taken the decision to withdraw Pathway 1201: Composite Engineering Level 3 due to lack of take up and demand, composite engineering is covered within other remaining framework qualifications.

We are inviting feedback on the revised draft Framework Pathways; and would be interested to hear from apprentices, employers, training providers, awarding bodies, assessors and other stakeholders in Wales to ensure the Framework Pathways are fit for purpose.

The Framework Pathway(s) contains Levels 2, 3 and 4 and PDF files can be downloaded on this page to review.

The consultation includes a number of questions. These questions are not exhaustive and we would welcome your comments on any related issue. Please provide reasons alongside your answers where possible.

We invite you to comment on the overall sector Framework as well as specific requirements for each Framework Pathway.

The current Framework Pathway document can be found at https://acwcerts.co.uk/web/frameworks-library and the newly proposed draft Framework Pathway documents can be found in the PDFs linked above. The consultation will refer to these documents.

This consultation should take about 20 minutes to complete. The consultation will be open until 28 February 2023.

Any additional feedback can be sent to frameworks@enginuity.org.uk

Please complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6XDT8FW

Please complete 1 survey for each framework you wish to review.

The data in this consultation will be collated by Enginuity and shared with Welsh Government to provide an evidence based internal report. The report will highlight the required changes in the Framework Pathway(s), to ensure that the revised Framework Pathway is fit for purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this review.
